JSC, JDC results to be published Dec 30

The Junior School Certificate and Junior Dakhil Certificate exam results will be published on Dec 30.

Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid announced the date at the Secretariat on Tuesday.

According to convention, the education minister, alongside the board chairpersons, will hand a summary of the exam results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on the morning of Dec 30.

Detailed results will be announced by the education minister at a press conference afterwards at the Secretariat. Examinees will be able to check their results after Nahid’s press conference.

The prime minister will also inaugurate the free textbooks for 2018 on Dec 30, said Nahid.

A total of 2,468,820 students took their JSC-JDC exams this year.

The date for the equivalent primary and Ebtedayee education completion exam results has not been finalised, Primary and Mass Education Secretary Mohammad Asif-Uz-Zaman told bdnews24.com.

We are aiming to release them within the last week of December, he said.

“We will publish them on the day the prime minister can give us time.”
