Three die as bus, truck collide in Tangail
Three people have died and at least 15 have been injured after a bus and a truck crashed head-on in Tangail’s Kalihati.

The incident occurred on the Bangabandhu Bridge on the Dhaka Tangail Highway around 7:50am on Sunday, said Bangabandhu Bridge East Police Station OC Asabur Rahman.
The injured have been taken to Tangail Sadar Hospital for treatment. Police have yet to reveal their identities.
“A Mim Transport bus heading from Rangpur to Dhaka crashed headfirst into a truck from Chinamati heading in the opposite direction, killing three on the spot,” OC Rahman said.
Police went to the scene and rescued the injured with help from locals. One of the injured is in critical condition, police said.
