The gunfight left two people dead in the neighbourhood early Friday, said officer-in-charge of Badda police station OC Kazi Wazed Ali, quoting DB officials of Dhaka North.

Police could not yet identify the dead but they seemed to be aged between 25 and 30, said SI Bachchu Mia of Dhaka Medical College Hospital police outpost.

“Doctors declared them dead after Badda police SI Abdul Qader brought them there. The bodies bore multiple gunshot wounds,” he told bdnews24.com.

The bodies have been kept at the hospital morgue.

Approached, DB officials refrained from making any comment over the incident.
