Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is scheduled to address the rally in the afternoon at the end of the procession on Saturday.

The procession will start at Bangabandhu Memorial Museum at Dhanmondi 32 at noon on Saturday and end at the Suhrawardy Udyan at Shahbagh.

The DMP said the procession would travel through Mirpur Road crossing Russell Square and Kolabagan and turn left towards Shahbagh from Science Laboratory intersection.

It will then cross Bata Signal and Kantabon Crossing before entering the Udyan through the Chhobir Haat gate after turning right at Shahbagh.

The procession participants will also hold a rally at the Udyan, formerly Race Course Ground, where Bangabandhu delivered the speech in 1971, calling for the fight for independence.

People will also be allowed into the Udyan through the gates at TSC, Bangla Academy and Kali Temple to join the rally.

Police have advised the residents of Dhaka to see the map before starting their travel while the government has urged all to take part in the procession and the rally.
