Man in Chittagong gets death for murdering wife
A Chittagong court has awarded the death penalty to a man for killing his wife in 2010.

On Apr 6 that year, housewife Rozina Begum was strangled to death inside her home in Hathazari Upazila.
On Monday, the district and sessions judge’s court convicted the husband Md Mostafa alias Shukkur of the murder.
According to the case details, the convict hung Rozina’s body from the ceiling in attempt to cover up the murder.
Public Prosecutor AKM Sirazul Islam told bdnews24.com Shukkur, who is in jail, was brought to the court on Monday for the verdict.
