Additional Superintendent of Police Afrajul Haque said the bodies were recovered at Khurer Mukh area of Sabrang around 9pm on Saturday.

"The bodies are decomposed. They have clothes on similar to those of Rohingyas women," he said.

The death toll in the incident now stands at 34. Earlier, 31 bodies, including 17 children and 13 women were found.

Afrajul said police believe the three are victims of the boat capsize of Oct 8. At least 30 people went missing, and eight were rescued when the boat sank at Golartek in the Naf river on that night.

The Rohingyas are crossing the border in large numbers into Bangladesh since the Myanmar military began a crackdown on insurgents on Aug 25.

Over half a million Rohingyas have joined the 400,000 refugees in Bangladesh in the latest exodus. Myanmar denies the persecuted ethnic minority citizenship.
