Two die in accident after trailer overturns on broken road
Two people died and another two were injured after a freight trailer overturned on a broken road in Chittagong and crushed an autorickshaw, police say.

The accident occurred on a road near the port city’s Neemtala intersection around 9:45am on Sunday, said Port Police Station OC Moinul Islam.
Both the trailer and the autorickshaw were heading toward the intersection, the OC told bdnews24.com.
Two died on the spot.
“The trailer overturned due to the poor condition of the road. A crane was used to lift the trailer and recover the victims.”
The autorickshaw was carrying four people, including the driver, said Agrabad Fire Service Deputy Assistant Director Jashim Uddin.
Two of the wounded were taken to Chittagong Medical College Hospital for treatment, he said.
The victims have yet to be identified.
Traffic on the road resumed around 11:30am after police and locals helped the fire service crane lift the trailer and recover the victims, the fire service official said.
