Mercury continues to rise in Chuadanga, crossing 41 degrees Celsius for the first time this season in early summer
Police said the crash involving three vehicles took place around 2pm Sunday on the Sufia Road in Mirsarai Upazila.
“A covered van first rammed into a human haulier (locally known as Leguna) parked on the road and then got hit by a truck from behind,” said Shairul Islam, officer-in-charge at Mirsarai Police Station.
“Three of them died on the spot while one was taken to the Mirsarai Upazila Health Complex with injuries,” he said.
The victims were yet to be identified, said the OC.
