Noore Alam confessed the rape to the court after his arrest
After failing to reach the mountaineers twice in the last two days due to bad weather, rescuers managed to land their helicopter at the base camp of Mount Carstenz at 5:23am on Monday.
The mountaineers airlifted around 5:30am reached the nearest airport in Timika half an hour later, Musa told bdnews24.com.
Bad weather grounded the three, including Indian mountaineers Satyarup Siddhanta and Nandita Chandrashekhar, after they climbed down from Carstenz Pyramid, the tallest summit of Mount Carstensz in Papua Province.
They were stuck at Lake Valley, the base camp at the elevation of 4,275 metres since Jun 13.
Musa is expected to start for Bangladesh on Jun 21.
