Sylhet man 'kills himself' in police custody
A man has 'committed suicide' while in custody of police at Jaintapur Police Station in Sylhet.

Police claim, Nazrul Islam Babu, who was charged for torturing his wife, strangled himself on early Friday.
Nazrul served as a fourth grade employee of Jaintapur Upazila administration. He was picked up from his home on early Thursday following a case lodged by his wife, said Sylhet Additional SP Sugyan Chakma.
"The CCTV footage shows Nazrul tearing up a blanket and strangling himself with it. The guards will face departmental action if found to have been negligent in duties," he said.
The body has been sent to Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College and Hospital for autopsy.
