They were nabbed during night raids that ended at dawn on Sunday, said Nasirnagar Police Station OC Abu Zafar.

“They will be produced in court as suspects in the two cases filed over attacks.”

Around 15 Hindu temples and more than a hundred homes were looted and vandalised by a Muslim mob on Oct 30 over a Facebook post ‘insulting Islam’.

So far 53 persons have been nabbed in the two cases filed by two men including Barowari temple priest on the day after the attack, said the OC.

Each case accuses 1000 to 1200 unidentified attackers.

Police arrested Hindu fisherman Rasraj Das for the post. He was remanded to police custody for 'insulting Islam' on Thursday.
