Customs officials say they found the phones hidden in the luggage of one Md Yasin, who flew in from Sharjah on Friday morning.
Yasin was stopped as customs officials found his movements suspicious.
The mobiles include 46 of Samsung and 12 of HTC brands.
However, the customs officials could not say their estimated value.
