NSI gets new chief
Major General Md Shamsul Haque has been appointed director general of the National Security Intelligence (NSI).

He will replace Brigadier General Monzur Ahmed (Retd) as the head of the civil intelligence agency.
Ahmed’s contract was twice extended after his appointment in May 16, 2009.
A circular issued by the Ministry of Public Administration made the announcement on Tuesday.
Haque had been the chairman of the Sena Kalyan Sangstha from May 19 last year.
