Dhaka's Senior Judicial Magistrate Wasim Sheikh accepted the chargesheet filed on Tuesday.

The court has also asked police to submit a report on whether the absconding has been arrested on Feb 25.

On Dec 22, police finalised the chargesheet, holding 13 responsible for the tragedy.

They have been charged with manslaughter and death caused by negligence under Sections 304 and 304 (a) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

At least 112 workers were killed and more than 200 suffered burns when a fire swept through Tazreen Fashions' Ashulia factory on Nov 24 last year.

Ashulia police station's sub-inspector Khairul Islam filed a case the next day charging unidentified persons.

The charge of death due to negligence (Under article 304a) was included in the case later along with that of sabotage by arson.

The Crime Investigation Department (CID) took over the investigation of the case on Jan 2.

Workers of the gutted factory said that the exit points were locked and that they have not been allowed to escape to safety when the fire broke out.

Evidence of not maintaining the building code for the factory has also been found.

The victims and their family are upset because prime accused Delwar has been not arrested more than a year after the fire.

Allegations have surfaced that he is being shielded.

Delwar, his wife and chairman of Tazreen Fashions Mahmuda Akter are absconding.

Four other Tazreen officials who have been charged are also absconding . They are engineer Mahbub Morshed, factory manager Abdur Razzak, quality manager Shahiduzzaman Dulal and production manager Mobarak Hossain Manju .

The company's administrative officer Dulal, store manager Hamidul Islam Lavlu, security supervisor Al Amin, security guard Anarul Rana, store-in-charge Al Amin and loader Shamim Mia are currently on bail.

The factory's security-in-charge Anisur Rahman is behind the bars.

The prosecution listed 104 witnesses in the case.
