The BCL Central Committee Assistant Secretary walked out of Chittagong Central Jail on Sunday afternoon.

The bail order from the High Court for him and three others reached the authorities earlier in the day, Deputy Jailor Nur Mohammad Sohel told bdnews24.com.

The three others are Chhatra League Chittagong University unit’s Organising Secretary Alamgir Tipu, Cultural Affairs Secretary Jamir Uddin and member Sharif Ahmed.

Two, including 8-year-old Arman Hossain, were killed in a Chhatra League factional skirmish on June 24 in the port city’s CRB area over a tender bid.

Limon had allegedly led one of the groups to the gun-battle and the other was headed by suspended Juba League leader Helal Akbar Chowdhury.

Police had filed a lawsuit against 87 people and Limon topped the list of those accused. So far 59 have been detained in the case.
