Ramadan in KSA from Wednesday

Saudi Arabia along with most other Middle East countries will observe the holy month of Ramadan from Wednesday.

Generally, the Ramadan begins in Bangladesh a day after Saudi Arabia starts observing the month of dawn-to-dusk fasting.

Saudi Press Agency in a report said there were no reports on the sighting of the new crescent in Saudi Arabia on Monday. That’s why Ramadan would begin from Wednesday.

The UAE, Kuwait, Oman, Egypt, Malaysia, Australia and Singapore also announced that Ramadan will begin the same day.

Devotees around the world will fast from dawn to dusk until the Eid-ul-Fitr is held on the first day of the month of Shawal.
bdnews24.com New York Correspondent said the new moon was not sighted anywhere in the United States. The Ramadan will begin there from Wednesday too.
Council on American Islamic Relation said there are at least 2,400 mosques in the US and Tarabih prayers would be held at those mosques throughout Ramadan.
