Strikers resorted to arson and bomb explosions during the Islami Chhatra Shibir shutdown in Feni on Sunday.

Three strikers were nabbed.
Police lobbed teargas shells and fired from shotguns to bring the situation under control.
Police and Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) personnel were patrolling the streets, Feni Model Police Station Inspector Syed Mostafa told bdnews24.com.
At least 12 explosions were reported from Feni town, witnesses said.
A battery-driven three-wheeler was burned down on Shahidullah Kaiser road around 10am.
At least 10 more three-wheelers were vandalised in Lemua, Mahipal and other areas, bdnews24.com Feni Correspondent reported.
Inspector Mostafa said police were compelled to fire to control the situation.
Witnesses said burning logs were used as road blocks on Feni's Trunk road, Shahidullah Kaiser Road, Bir Uttam Shahid Salauddin Road and Madina bus-stand area.
Strikers damaged a van carrying newspapers on Feni-Noakhali road around 6am, Noahkhali's newpaper agent Zakir Hossain told bdnews24.com.
Other newspaper vans were also held up for a while before they were allowed to move, he added.
Superintendent of Feni Police Anisur Rahman said police were alert.
Meanwhile, 18 supporters of Jamaat-e-Islami and its student wing Chhatra Shibir were taken into preventive detention from several areas of Feni on Saturday night, he said.
Long route buses from the district were grounded, but some inter-district transport were on the roads, bdnews24.com Feni Correspondent reported.
Trains and water transport were not affected.
Shibir activists took out a morning procession in commercial area Choumohani followed by a small rally.
The shutdown was called in Noakhali, Laxmipur and Feni protesting the arrest of their former Shibir President Fakhruddin Manik and central Office Secretary Atiqur Rahman.
