    Ex-JP MP Majumder no more

    Former Jatiya Party MP Brigadier M R Majumder (retired) died on Monday evening from old-age ailments.

    Dhaka, Dec 19 (bdnews24.com) – Former Jatiya Party MP Brigadier M R Majumder (retired) died on Monday evening from old-age ailments.
    He died around 8.30pm at Combined Military Hospital, his son Hasan Majumder told bdnews24.com. He leaves behind four sons and wife to mourn his death.
    Majumder was arrested in 1971 for his involvement in the Liberation War and charged with sedition by Pakistani army.
    He was elected twice from Sylhet.
    Majumder's janaza will be held on Tuesday at Shyamoli Shishupolli Mosque after Zohr prayers.
