Dhaka, Sept 05 (bdnews24.com)—Ntv managing director Enayetur Rahman Bappy has resigned.
Bappy told bdnews24.com on Monday that it was not possible to work in two organisations at the same time. "That is why I quit from Ntv."
Bappy said he had taken over new responsibilities to run Channel 9, a new television station.
There is speculation that Bappy's resignation was a result of tensions between him and former MP Mosaddak Ali Falu, chairman and owner of the television station.
He said he had also bought into the company.
However, he will remain as a director of Ntv. Bappy is also part owner of some Ntv shares.
