Ex-MP Nazim Kamran Chy held in house grab case

Police arrested businessman Nazim Kamran Choudhury, husband of former caretaker adviser Geetiara Safiya Choudhury, and two other close relatives on Thursday in a house grab case.

Dhaka, July 2 (bdnews24.com)—Police arrested businessman Nazim Kamran Choudhury, husband of former caretaker adviser Geetiara Safiya Choudhury, and two other close relatives on Thursday in a house grab case.
House owners Dr Mahbubul Islam and wife Farhana Islam filed a case against 11 people, including Geetiara and Nazim, accusing them of forcible occupation of the property at 7/A, Road No 41, Gulshan-2.
Gulshan police chief Kamrul Alam Mollah told bdnews24.com that Nazim, his younger brother Mokim Choudhury and the Choudhury couple's son-in-law Aditya Bhagat, were arrested from Gulshan-1 at around 11.30pm.
Mollah said police were also looking for the other accused.
