Dhaka, Oct 16 (bdnews24.com) – Professor MA Hadi, former vice chancellor of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University and ex-president of pro-BNP Doctors' Association of Bangladesh, died from brain haemorrhage Tuesday.

He was 66.
Hadi had been under medical treatment at the Ibn Sina Hospital since Oct 2, said professor Mohammad Ali Siddiqui, president of Mymensingh Medical College chapter of DAB.
A former Health Directorate director general, Prof Hadi was nominated by the BNP to run the forestalled 2007 elections from Mymensingh-10 constituency.
Hadi's first namaz-e–janaza was held at BSMMU. He will be buried after his eldest son arrives from the United States.
Hadi left behind his wife and their two sons and as many daughters.
