15 Rakhains arrested for travelling Myanmar without passports

BDR personnel have arrested fifteen Bangladeshi Rakhains from Teknaf border for travelling to Myanmar without valid documents.
Cox's Bazar, March 18 (BDNEWS) – BDR personnel have arrested fifteen Bangladeshi Rakhains from Teknaf border for travelling to Myanmar without valid documents.
Two women are among the arrestees.
Fifteen Bangladeshi Rakhains from Cox's Bazar sadar and Maheshkhali upazilas went to Myanmar without passports. BDR nabbed them Thursday afternoon while they were entering Bangladesh crossing the Naf river.
They were asked to show their passports but when they failed to show any, BDR personnel handed them over to Teknaf police.
The arrested Rakhains, however, told police that they had gone to Myanmar to attend a religious ceremony.
