They have launched a website - searchingforsyria.org, with information people are seeking to know about the war.

The war has also left millions homeless. It has displaced 11 million people, according to the United Nations.

"There are now more people displaced by conflict or persecution than any time since World War II," says the Searching for Syria website.

After a brief introduction, the site answers questions like - "What was Syria like before the war?", "What is going on in Syria?", "What is a refugee?", and "Where are Syrian refugees going?".

"The biggest humanitarian and refugee crisis of our time,” the site quoted Filippo Grandi, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, as saying, to describe the war.

The website has also made it easy for people to support those affected by the war - either by making a donation, signing the UNHCR’s petition to pledge their support to stand with the refugees, or simply spreading the word on social media.
