Gunman takes hostages in Paris travel agency robbery: Source

A gunman has taken hostage about half a dozen people at a travel agency in southern Paris in what appears to be a robbery, a police source says.

Armed police are on the scene, the source said, adding that the incident did not appear to be linked to terrorism.

The travel agency, which is used in particular by Asian customers who deal in cash transactions, has previously been held up, the source added.
