Andre Milne, who is voluntarily investigating the plane that disappeared in March last year with 239 passengers on board enroute from Kuala Lumpur ro Beijing insisted that the remains found in the Bay of Bengal must be investigated, the Mirror reported Thursday.
Milne, who works in military aviation technology, said he hoped to crowd-fund a project with supporters pledging 6.70 pounds each.
"This area is not being searched," he was quoted as saying.
"I need your help in order to verify one way or another whether this is in fact MH370."
The plane's disappearance has baffled the world's aviation experts. Many theories have cropped up ranging from alien abduction to a Russian hijack.
Malaysia officially declared the disappearance of Flight MH370 an accident and said that all 239 passengers and crew on board were presumed dead.
