Young Bangla, Microsoft train Bangladesh students

A Bangladeshi youth platform, Young Bangla, has offered computer skills development trainings to school and college students in several districts with the support of Microsoft Corp.

The non-profit Center for Research and Information (CRI), which works as the secretariat of the Young Bangla, said on Tuesday in the last week, they had trained up 200 such students and handed them certificates.
 
The training includes basic computing skills, necessary operating skills, and also some troubleshooting techniques.
 
Managing Director of Microsoft Bangladesh Sonia Bashir Kabir hailed the Young Bangla initiative, and hoped that they would expand such trainings to the grass-root level.
 
The training sessions took place in Jamalpur, Nilphamari, Panchagarh and Brahmanbaria district headquarters.
