bdnews24.com is launching a redesigned official app for both Android and iOS platforms to help readers stay on top of what is happening with a better browsing experience.

A beta version can be had on Google Play Store as well as on iTunes.

The new app comes with a host of features to provide users with a seamless experience of browsing not just happening stories but also videos with a set of preferences.

Readers will have the option to switch between Bangla and English languages for best mobile experience.

Always free of cost, the official bdnews24.com app goes through changes taking on board user feedback.

Developed by Malaysia-based Selliyal Sdn Bhd, the new and improved app will include features like progressive searching. This will eventually work in both Bangla and English on all platforms.

Muthu Nedumaran, the app developer and a perfectionist by nature, is still putting in final touches to the first full version that bdnews24.com plans to launch sometime in mid to late September.

Nedumaran has also built the Bangla font for iOS and Sellipi, a Bangla writing software, for Android.

Without revealing much about what more is in store, he said, “It will be exciting! Why don’t you try the demo version for a preview?”
Tanim Ahmed, head of bdnews24.com’s sales and marketing, is confident the app would make reading experience of Bangladesh’s first online news portal comprehensive and effortless.
“One no longer needs to stay connected to the internet to read bdnews24.com on the go. The app does it all.”
Ahmed expects users to spend a far greater amount of time on bdnews24.com pages.
