Argentina stay top in Fifa rankings, Brazil go down

Argentina have retained the top spot in Fifa world rankings while Brazil slipped to seventh.

World Champions Germany overtook Belgium for second place while Portugal climbed two spots into the fourth in Fifa's monthly chart published on Thursday.

Colombia went down a step into fifth, while Spain moved back into the top 10 after a three-month absence, climbing from 11th to sixth.

They are followed by Brazil who slipped two places.

Wales, eighth, and Austria, 11th, are enjoying their highest ever position in the ranking, while Chile are ninth and England stayed 10th.

Bangladesh slipped nine places to be 182nd.
