BNP chief Khaleda visits husband Zia, son Coco’s graves

BNP chief Khaleda Zia has visited the graves of her husband Ziaur Rahman and son Arafat Rahman Coco on the Shab-e-Barat.

She went to Coco’s grave at Banani on Sunday evening.  She recited the Quran and offered prayers there.

Her sister Selina Islam and Coco’s in-laws were with her.

Coco, carrying a six-year jail term on his head for smuggling millions of taka out of the country, died in Malaysia on Jan 27 last year.

After visiting his grave, Khaleda went to her husband’s grave at Sher-e-Bangla Nagar and offered prayers. Senior party leaders accompanied the former prime minister.
