Prosecutors say Pecker's actions helped Trump deceive voters in the 2016 election
The Gonoshasthaya Kendra founder made the ‘suggestion’ while criticising the forensic expert who conducted the post-mortem examination of Comilla college student Sohagi Jahan Tonu.
The forensic expert found no tangible reason behind the death of Tonu, prompting a second autopsy.
“Today the chief justice has emerged as an avatar. So the responsibility of summoning the doctor falls on him. The doctor will have to be asked why he couldn’t find any cause of death. He will also have to surrender his certificate,” he said.
Addressing the chief justice, he said, “Only speaking good things is not enough. It’s also necessary to do good jobs.”
Chowdhury had been earlier punished for contempt of International Crimes Tribunal.
