Witness deposition and cross-examination of prosecution witness by defence lawyers would resume on that day.

Former prime minister Khaleda is accused in ‘Zia Orphanage Trust’ and ‘Zia Charitable Trust’ graft cases.

She has been charged with siphoning off Tk 52.5 million funds from the charities in the cases filed by the Anti-Corruption Commission.

The BNP claims the cases are politically motivated, a charge the government denies.

Khaleda went to the court on Thursday morning to attend the scheduled hearing.
