Both secured the bail from the bench of justices Md Nuruzzaman and Abdur Rob in separate hearings on Thursday.

BNP acting Secretary General Fakhrul was given anticipatory bail until charges in three cases against him were pressed in court.

Police named him in a case lodged at Motijheel and two others at Paltan police stations in January this year. The law-enforcers had accused him of committing acts of sabotage.

Fakhrul was arrested on Jan 6 after he emerged from a media briefing at the National Press Club. He has been in the Kashimpur jail since Jan 8.
On June 13, he was admitted to the prison ward of the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) following a High Court order after he fell ill.
BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s adviser Mosaddek Ali Falu was accused in a case lodged at Badda Police Station of vandalism, bomb blasts and obstructing police duty.
One of his lawyers, Masud Rana, on Thursday told
bdnews24.com that the High Court granted the BNP leader bail after the hearing of a rule it had issued on Apr 20, asking why Falu should not be given bail.
Rana added there was no legal bar now to the BNP leader’s release, as he had secured bail in the three cases against him.
