“She would be setting off around 10am for the hearing on the Zia Orphanage and Zia Charitable Trust graft cases.” Mahbub Uddin Khokon said on Sunday

Khokan, a BNP leader, added that her client was respectful of the law and would appear for the hearing without fail.

The Dhaka Metropolitan Special Judge’s Court with its temporary courtroom in Bakshibazar had earlier issued a warrant for the BNP chief’s arrest.

It came after she did not appear for consecutive hearings.

She was granted bail after appearing on Apr 5. But she skipped the next hearing.
