Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s son said this in a Facebook post on Monday following attacks on Khaleda’s motorcade when she went to campaign for Dhaka north mayoral aspirant Tabith Awal.

He said: “People of Dhaka are quite angry at Khaleda Zia for burning 160 people to death and injuring many others on buses and public transportation during the past three months.”

“I think those who attacked her motorcade with brickbats today are probably expressing this anger,” he added.
Joy said the innocent victims of the violence during the BNP-led alliance’s blockade and shutdowns deserved justice.
“Khaleda Zia and the BNP must be brought to justice for their heinous and cowardly arson attacks.
“(But) throwing bricks at her motorcade is not the way to do this.”
