“It’s true that people favoured by an incumbent government can do more work than others, even if you and I like it or not,” he says.

The businessman, who stepped into politics for the first time by throwing himself in the race, was speaking with reporters at a convention centre at Gulshan on Monday.

He said, “This government still has three years in ints term by constitutional rights. Was any government pushed out through movement after the ‘90s?” he asked.

The former FBCCI president considers himself qualified to become the mayor. “Annisul Huq’s record is not that bad,” he said.
He asked the voters to take their cameras when they go to cast their votes on Apr 28.
His call apparently came after the BNP demanded that the Election Commission install CCTV cameras in every polling centre during the voting.
The BNP and the candidates it supports have been alleging that the election would not be free and fair unless proper measures are taken.
