Bomb attack on anti-violence rally in Dhaka’s Hazaribagh 

A number of people has been wounded in bomb explosions at the 14-Party alliance’s anti-violence rally in Dhaka’s Hazaribagh.

Awami League MP Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh was on stage when two crude bombs were blasted on Wednesday afternoon amidst the ongoing blockade and shutdown being enforced by the BNP-led alliance. 

Hazaribagh Police Station OC Moinul Islam toldbdnews24.com that vice president of ward 22 Sweschashebak League Moktar Hossain and activists Riaz Ahmed and Mohammad Selim had been admitted to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital with splinter wounds. 

The crude bombs were blasted beside the area reserved for journalists in the programme. 

Police are trying to find out who detonated the bombs.
