"The government has engaged in many undemocratic activities before the Saturday rally. District leaders have informed us that local administration of different places, including Daudkandi and Chandina, are intimidating BNP leaders and activists," he said at a press briefing on Friday morning.
The press briefing took place at the party's central office at Naya Paltan.
BNP will hold the rally to demand quick polls and protest against the government's ‘misrule’ at the Comilla Town Hall ground on Saturday noon.
Khaleda will address it as chief guest.
