Khaleda gets ‘unique’ reception at Kishoreganj

Local BNP leaders of Kishoreganj have given a special reception to their Chairperson Khaleda Zia.

Khaleda who left Dhaka on Wednesday morning for a mass rally there, reached Kishoreganj Circuit House at 3pm.

On her arrival, a man mounted on an elephant, dressed in royal attires, saluted the BNP chief with a wooden sword.

Three ladies dressed as Mohua, Molua and Sakhina from Mymensingh Geetika, a collection of folk ballads, handed her flowers.

Khaleda will address a rally of 20-Party alliance at Kishoreganj’s Gurudoyal College field at 3pm.

She would return to Dhaka in the evening, said her press secretary Maruf Kamal Khan.
