At a public rally in Brahmanbaria on Tuesday, the BNP chief had said that she was not scared of being arrested and advised the rulers to find an 'escape route'.
"You are conspiring with foreign forces to destabilise the country. If the conspiracy (to topple the Hasina-led government) fails, then you will not be able to find a way to escape," Hanif told a discussion on Wednesday.
"The people do not want programmes like strikes. Adopt the path of positive politics shunning the negative approach. There's no use of a movement without an issue," said the ruling party leader.
