As the ruling party chief was walking out of Parliament at the end of Sunday's session, she was heard saying, "All the Awami League leaders can be bought."

On the day, a report on the 16th Amendment Bill was presented in the Parliament.

After the session ended, several Awami League MPs and Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu approached Hasina to talk about the Amendment.

Chief Whip ASM Feroz, Law Minister Anisul Huq and Agriculture Minister Matia Chowdhury were also seen trying to speak to the party chief.

Several MPs were heard speaking about complexities in restoring Parliament's power to remove judges.

The prime minister then left the room saying, "Every Awami League leader can be bought except Sheikh Hasina and that's the problem."

Her words floated to the Parliament’s gallery.

Hasina earlier scolded Whip Atiur Rahman Atik for sitting on the railways minister's chair when the session was going on.
Inu sat on the empty chair of the foreign minister behind Hasina's row after a chat. Awami League MP Atik sat on railways minister's chair who was not there.
After sometime, Feroz, Huq, Inu and Atik started chatting.
The prime minister turned around and looked at Atik and said, "What is it that you do here all the time?
"What are you talking so much about? Go and sit behind [in your seat]," she said.
Atik did exactly that.
