Jatiyatabadi Juba Dal Vice-President Farhad Hossain Azad informed that Fakhrul left on a Singapore Airlines flight on Tuesday.

“Sir (Fakhrul) has gone to Singapore for treatment. He will be back after four or five days,” Farhad told bdnews24.com.

The BNP spokesperson has been suffering from a throat problem for quite some time. Like his previous visit, this time too he would be treated at Singapore National University Hospital.
The ailment was first detected during his imprisonment in 2013.
He was initially treated at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) and then at United Hospital.
Later, on doctors’ advice he went to Singapore on May 14 last year.
After that, the 66-year-old BNP leader had gone to Singapore again in February and August this year for treatment.
