He was speaking at a discussion at the National Press Club on Friday.

“The administration won’t sit idle if you attack people or property, set fire to vehicles and bomb people. You will face punishment for such actions,” he said.

BNP has been regularly issuing threat of resorting to vigorous movement demanding early polls under a non-partisan government.

“BNP is threatening about launching movement. Some are saying they will march, some are saying they will go to war. Whatever you do, do it at home. No one will stop you,” Kamal said.

“Who do you want to go to war with? People don’t want your movement. They are living in peace,” the junior minister said.

Food Minister Qamrul Islam advised BNP to “ first fix its own organisation”.

“You fight among each other. See what’s happening after you announced your new committee. Fix that first, and then talk about movement,” he said.
