Selim Osman takes oath
Selim Osman, younger brother late MP Nasim Osman, has taken oath as Jatiya Party (JP) lawmaker of Naryanganj-5 constituency.

Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury administered the oath in the Parliament building on Tuesday.
Selim won the June 26 by-poll by securing 82,856 votes and beating his rival SM Akram, an independent candidate.
The seat had fallen vacant since the death of Opposition JP MP Nasim Osman.
JP Chairman and the prime minister’s special envoy HM Ershad, Parliament Whips Md Shahiduzzaman Sarkar and Iqbalur Rahim and JP Secretary General Jia Uddin Ahmed Bablu were present at the ceremony.
Selim’s younger brother Shamim Osman is an MP of the Awami League from Narayanganj-4.
