She had filed the previous writ petitions challenging the legality of the appointment of a lower court judge, who indicted her in two corruption cases.

Appellate Division Chamber Judge Hasan Foez Siddique fixed the new date on Tuesday.

Khandaker Mahbub Hossain represented the former prime minister in the hearing. Barrister Moudud Ahmed and AJ Mohammad Ali aided him.

Attorney General Mahbubey Alam and Anti Corruption Commission lawyer Khurshid Alam Khan represented the defendant.

Khaleda's lawyer MD Asaduzzaman filed the two applications on Monday. On the same day, Barrister Khokan appealed to the judge to dismiss the revision appeal challenging the legality of the framing process in two cases.

On March 19, Dhaka’s Special Judge Basudeb Roy indicted the former prime minister in ‘Zia Charity Trust’ and ‘Zia Orphanage Trust’ corruption cases.

Khaleda filed the petitions on May 12 questioning the legality of the appointment of Judge Basudeb Roy.

After two days of hearing, Justice Farah Mahbub of a two-strong bench on May 25 issued a stay order. However, Justice Kazi Md Ejarul Haque Akondo dismissed the two cases.

The chief justice then forwarded the case to Kazi Rezaul Haque’s bench. This bench also dismissed that appeal on June 19.
