The eight-hour long programme will kick off at 9am across Bangladesh.

BNP’s Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi told reporters that Khaleda will join the programme at the National Press Club.

The party has claimed that 310 of its activists have been either murdered or forced into disappearance over the past one year.

After the abduction and murder of seven men in Narayanganj, Khaleda urged the people to stand up against such atrocities.

Rizvi, speaking to reporters on Saturday at BNP’s headquarters, claimed the government’s henchmen were behind the abduction and murder.

He alleged the recent spike in such crimes aimed at repressing the opposition.

The ruling Awami League, on the contrary, blamed the BNP for the killings through ‘guerrilla-styled’ attacks to ‘destabilise’ the country.
