Former AL MP Abdul Latif Mirza dies at 63

Awami League leader Abdul Latif Mirza died from heart diseases Monday night, aged 63, his family and doctors said.

Pabna, Nov 5 (bdnews24.com) – Awami League leader Abdul Latif Mirza died from heart diseases Monday night, aged 63, his family and doctors said.
Mirza, general secretary of Sirajganj Awami League, died after he was taken to hospital from his home in Kawak village in Ullahpara upazila.
Mirza was elected member of parliament from Sirajganj-4 constituency on the slate of the Awami League in 1996.
He played a role in raising a movement against the Pakistani forces in Tarash, Ullahpara, Shahjadpur and Rayganj upazilas in 1971.
He left behind his wife, one son and one daughter.
