An evening of modern songs at IGCC
The Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre (IGCC) in Dhaka will organise an evening of modern songs on Friday.

The event, to be organised in association with Asian Paints and Marico Bangladesh, will feature Bangladeshi singer Syed Abdul Hadi at 6:30pm at its Gulshan-1 premises.
Hadi, a legendary modern-song singer, is also well versed in Hindustani classical vocal music and Rabindra Sangeet.
He has been a playback singer for Bengali films since 1960 and has been honoured with a number of prestigious music awards in Bangladesh. The most notable of them are the National Film Award for Best Singer and the prestigious ‘Ekushey Padak’.
The IGCC regularly hosts lively and culturally enriching musical evenings with performances from various celebrated artistes.
These events are open to all. There will be no entry fee.
