bdnews24.com has organised a two-day workshop for the district coordinators who run and manage the page 'Hello', Bangladesh’s first children’s news service website.

Mujtaba Hakim Plato, Executive Editor, Hello, inaugurated the session at the offices of bdnews24.com on Friday.

Twenty-four district coordinators have joined the workshop, which is part of a two-year project run in collaboration with the United Nations Children's Fund or UNICEF.

bdnews24.com News Editor Monirul Islam and Senior Sub Editor Debashish Deb shared their knowledge and experience with the participants.

"Not only Hello members, children from all across the country can join the project," said Plato.

"Hello is a creative platform for children," said Bagerhat coordinator Alip Ghatak.

Hello correspondents are currently active in Bhola, Patuakhali, Cox's Bazar, Bandarban, Noakhali, Sylhet, Moulvibazar, Magura, Bagerhat, Thakurgaon, Jhalakathi, Habiganj, Nilphamari, Kurhigram, Gaibandha, Sirajganj, Satkhira, Khulna, Jamalpur, Sherpur, Netrokona, Khagrachhari and Rangamati.

Starting the journey in 2013, Hello (http://hello.bdnews24.com/) is run with the contents produced by children and adolescent journalists aged 10-17 years.
