Bangladesh government promotes sex determination on website!
The government’s family planning directorate website has a scroll on a “simple way” to find out the sex of an unborn child.

It was posted on Feb 18 this year.
Director General of Family Planning Mohammad Wahid Hossain said “sorry” for the post when asked.
“This is unfortunate,” he told bdnews24.com around 9:45pm on Wednesday, adding that he was not aware of it.
“I came to know a few minutes before and have already ordered its removal.”
“You will not get it by tonight,” he said, adding that “the person who is in-charge of the website will not be in that post from tomorrow”.
On clicking that scroll, one is directed to http://ans.bissoy.com/672/, in which one ‘Ariful’ posted a comment in Mar 2013.
Sex determination is illegal in India. In Bangladesh there is no such law.
The government’s population campaign slogan is “Not more than two children, one better.
