The ministry in a statement on Tuesday said their posting order would be released on the official website of the ministry on Wednesday evening.

They have to report to their workplace within seven days.

Some 6,089 doctors will be posted after their recruitment under the 33rd BCS examinations. They joined in a ceremony on Aug 7.

The ministry said 6,151 doctors had been recruited, but 62 did not join.

Additional Secretary Aiyubur Rahman will lead the committee to oversee their presence.
Senior officials at the ministry and the Directorate General of Health Services will be the other members.
Minister Mohammed Nasim in the statement said the postings had been made in a transparent way.
They ignored lobbying, he said, adding that the ministry posted them at their villages as many requested and spouses at the same work place.
The minister hoped the appointment would end the shortage of doctors at hospitals.
He also reminded the new recruits of the rules of staying at the first workplace at least two years.
Before that, he said, none would be transferred.
The health minister had earlier said he would set up a cell to monitor doctors’ presence as he found it “most challenging” in his more than seven months in office.
Authorities used to warn doctors to make them stay at their workplaces, but this time they offered them posting at their own villages as an incentive, breaking general government rules.
